Kiko Milano Cosmetics
Kiko Milano is an old favourite of mine, It has a massive product range and caters for women of all ages. Its products are all cruelty free and its made from the highest quality ingredients. Its vision Is to let every woman ‘Be what they want to be’.
I stumbled across them a few years ago and was instantly drawn to the look of the luxury packaging without the high price. Then you could only order from
the website in Italy but the prices made it worth it. There collections are always well thought out and the colours are rich, sumptuous, and vibrant. It’s pretty much a given that you will get a gift with each order as they are always trying to encourage loyalty with their customer base. I guess you could say the only downfall is that you have to order £25.00 worth of products for UK delivery, but then is that really a draw back when the products look like the Wanderlust Collection?
The product I’m reviewing for you today is the Unlimited Double Touch Liquid Lipstick in Shade 112. Straight away I was so impressed with the packaging, as usual Kiko hadn’t skimped on it. The capsules holding the lipstick was a nice ergonomic shape (makes a difference when you struggle holding things) you have the lipstick in one end and the top coat gloss at the other.
You apply the lipstick first which has a lovely soft, easy slip to it. The brush applicators were fantastic they made so easy to apply the lipstick and when putting it on it didn’t dry. With one application I had enough to do my bottom and top lip. Next you go in with the top coat which acts as a sealant, now it states that it will keep it in place for up to 8hrs. I would say an honest evaluation for me would be around 4-5 hours but I am a very heavy tea drinker! that might have something to do with it and although it did fade for me it didn’t disappear, I has a lovely subtle coral/pink shade left staining my lips. I would also say that this gloss/top coat would be good on its own if you just wanted a sheen on your lips as it feels soft and hydrating.
I don’t think that’s a bad outcome for the price at all £8.90. There is no smell or flavour to it so you don’t have to worry about it tainting your food or drinks after application.
All in all, I really liked it, I will be purchasing more. I mean when there’s a choice of 24 colours there literally is something there for everyone.
