Lumi DropsAre they Worth It?

I’ve been wanting to try Gosh Cosmetics out for quite a while now and about six months ago I bought my first product from them which was a foundation (review coming). Since that day I have to say I’ve pretty much been hooked! The quality of the products is second to none and the pricing is amazing, making it a complete no brainer brand for me. It is of course a Cruelty Free and Vegan (full list available on site) brand and as far as I’m aware you can only buy it in Superdrug in the UK but its available online.

Ok so onto the Lumi Drops, to be honest I wasn’t expecting anything amazing from them. I mean once you’ve been using products like Iconic London’s Illuminators and strobing sticks it gets difficult to come close! But I did try to keep an open mind because I like the products I’ve already bought. Firstly, they come in five different shades Vanilla, Peach, Bronze, Rose Blush and Coral Blush. The shades are all quite light which is important for someone like me who has very fair skin. In the end, I played safe and went for the Vanilla shade as I knew this would match my tone and mix with my foundations. I also wanted to choose this shade as it was like the ones I already have and meant I could give it a better comparison.

The bottle is quite clever, it has a small thinning spout at the tip for you to drip the amount of liquid out that you need. I wasn’t sure at first as I thought it was going to be messy and difficult but it’s the complete opposite. I’ve probably used a lot less because of this. The shade is a gorgeous opaque champagne tone with shimmers of silverGoshLumi coming through it and just reflects light beautifully. I’ve got to admit I was blown away by the ‘glow’ this little £7.99 highlighter was giving off. Then there’s the way it blends on the skin, it just melts into mine. There’s no clumping or caking it’s just a joy to use. I’ve mixed it with my foundations (all makes and styles) just a few drops to create a glowing, healthy look to my skin and it works perfectly. So yes, now I’m kicking myself that I didn’t buy all the other colours too! (watch this space)

So originally, I was questioning wither this little guy could stand up to the big boys of Illuminators such as Iconic? Well I think it can. I mean is it in the same league as Iconic? No, but then it’s not £29.99 either. But it does have major ‘glow’ and last all day and night long, looks amazing and will get you compliments from everyone you meet so I’d say yeah, buy it. Oh and if you do, let me know because I’d love your thoughts too.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the review, if you have don’t forget to subscribe to the blog and like this article as it lets me know what I’m doing right……. Thanks for all your support,
